Dana Hunter Adcock grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She and her husband have also lived in Richardson, Texas, but have primarily raised their 3 children here in Utah County. She earned her BS in Home Economics Education in 1988 from BYU then served an LDS mission in the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission. After her mission, she returned to BYU to earn her MS in Family Sciences, with an emphasis on cross-cultural studies. She has taught SFL 110, Food Preparation in the Home, since 2000, with a brief break where she ran a home business. She also assists with the preparation of secondary education majors in the Family and Consumer Sciences program. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, fitness, and travelling with her family. She speaks Spanish and loves any and all pizza.
