Dr. North has extensive training in the theory and application of critical topics across the field of industrial/organizational psychology and 15 years business experience across the industries of telecommunication, advertising, manufacturing, customer service and support, and higher education. One conversation at a time, he assists organizations, both small and large, to leverage their entrepreneurial spirits to meet the needs of their stakeholders. Some of his clients have included Granite Peaks Adult High School and Community Education, the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, PageNet/Arch Wireless, Q13 Fox News, PayChex, Microsoft, Evergreen Treatment Services, Team Survivor Northwest, and Coinstar/Redbox. He facilitates conversations, assessments, and interventions to better understand and ultimately improve business processes, select and train people, and manage organizational development and change. His passion and dedication is to train, develop, mentor, and coach across various corporate and educational settings and strives to unlock for his clients the extensive body of scientific knowledge in ways that empower them to understand what they value, measure and evaluate their effectiveness, and reach their hidden potentials.
Dr. North's specialities include topics across higher education and corporate training and development in the fields of psychology and management and uses univariate and multivariate statistical analyses. He uses face-to-face and eLearning pedagogical principles rooted in adult teaching and learning principles and is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. He is a member of the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association, and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology. He lives in the Provo/Orem metropolitan area with his wife, Patricia, and their three children, Ivy, Collin, and Logan.
