Stewart Anderson received a PhD from Binghamton University (SUNY) in August 2011. He has received research fellowships from the Fulbright and DAAD programs, and has published articles in journals such as Critical Studies in Television, Memory Studies, and the Historical Journal of Film, Radio, and Television. He also recently published an edited volume entitled, "Modernization, Nation-Building, and Television History" with Routledge. His book manuscript, Big Lessons from the Small Screen: German Television Plays and Moral Renewal after National Socialism, 1956-1970, is currently under review at Berghahn.
