Biography
After earning a double B.S. in Cartography and Mathematics from BYU in 1992, I received my M.S. (1995) and Ph.D. (1997) in Geography from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I have been teaching at BYU since 1997. My wife Jamie and I have 5 children, two married, and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy exploring places I've never been before, especially hiking in Utah.
