Biography
I graduated with my PhD in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University in 2024, and my research has focused a lot on parent-child relationships and therapies. Before that, I earned my MSW from BYU back in 2018, then worked as a child and family therapist. In 2020, I became an LCSW, and during that time discovered my passion for working with children and families. I’m also a Registered Play Therapist, and I truly believe in the power of play! I enjoy getting to take my clinical skills from working in the field and apply them in the classroom teaching social work students.

Teaching Interests
I’m thrilled to be teaching a variety of courses this year in the School of Social Work, including Introduction to Social Work, Couple and Family Therapy, Children and Adolescents, and Supervision. It’s been so fun working and learning alongside the students! One of my favorite things is bringing play and experiential activities into our lessons. We use things like art, play dough, puppets, figures, sand, and giant sticky notes to make learning more interactive and to practice working with clients. It’s been so amazing, and I can’t wait to keep having fun and growing together with the students!Education
