Biography

Stewart Anderson received a PhD from Binghamton University (SUNY) in August 2011. He has received research fellowships from the Fulbright and DAAD programs, and has published articles in journals such as Critical Studies in Television, Memory Studies, and the Historical Journal of Film, Radio, and Television. In 2014, he published an edited volume, "Modernization, Nation-Building, and Television History" with Routledge. His first monograph, A Dramatic Reinvention: German Television and Moral Renewal after National Socialism, 1956-1970, was published in March 2020 with Berghahn.
