Dr. Merkley is a board certified neuropsychologist. She previously was employed as a faculty neuropsychologist at Barrow Neurological Institute, where she performed inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological assessment.

Research Interests

Dr. Merkley's research primarily utilizes neuroimage analysis to investigate structural brain changes following acquired brain injury in its various forms and how they relate to neurobehavioral functioning during recovery. The goal is to identify ways to improve outcomes post-injury.
